President Biden signed a short-term Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep federal agencies operating through March 11, 2022. Congress still has not finished work on the FY 2022 spending bills, as additional time was needed to work out final funding levels. The president is expected to release details on his FY 2023 budget proposal next week for the State of the Union address.
