Cardiff Airport was hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic after an 87% drop in passenger numbers, new figures show.
This news is just the latest blow for the government owned airport after Stobart Air - who were due to launch two new routes from the airport - collapsed last week.
UK airports lost 223 million passengers last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to figures by the Civil Aviation Authority. Of this, travel numbers for Cardiff Airport dropped from 1,656,085 in 2019 to 219,984 in 2020.
