In an attempt to give a facelift to several US airports through infrastructure upgrades, the current administration has awarded another grant of more than $76 million. With the need to improve and expand several airports amid a surge in passenger traffic, the funds are expected to make several changes, including enhancing safety and efficiency at airports of all sizes across the country.

Various US airports are set to get a significant infrastructure boost, ranging from runway improvements to better facilities. The United States Department of Transportation is awarding another $76.1 million from the previously allocated $9 billion that will be used towards 45 airport-related infrastructure projects in 22 states.
