The Akron-Canton Airport this week was named TSA’s 2020 Airport of the Year in its size category, due in part to local efforts to improve the workplace during a very challenging year.
The Transportation Security Administration’s team of 70 officers at CAK helped launch the airport’s “It Starts With Me” campaign, which stressed personal responsibility and accountability in the workplace, said Sonny Lorrius, a spokesperson for TSA.
