On Saturday (3 October), under the Prime Minister’s name, the Government announced an independent review of transport infrastructure led by Sir Peter Hendy CBE, Chair of Network Rail.
Led by Sir Peter, it will look at how to boost transport infrastructure– improving connections, creating new ones, and bringing communities closer together to level up access to jobs and opportunities. Air links within the UK will also be reviewed (the Government’s words not BTN)...more
