Toronto Pearson International Airport is the largest airport in Canada by pre-pandemic total passenger traffic.

Infrastructure consulting firm AECOM is set to support the development of a long-term environmental master plan for Toronto Pearson International Airport in Ontario, Canada.

The company was selected by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) for the project.

The master plan will be aligned with GTAA’s environmental policy, which focuses on the six key areas of climate change, carbon neutrality and emissions, water management, natural environment, strategic energy use, and waste management.

The scope of work will include analysis of current strategies; baseline assessments for the focus areas; supervision of peer review; and identification of priority areas and related goals.
