The investment will fund the expansion and renovation of Vinh airport apron, allowing it to accommodate nine Code C aircraft.
The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) will invest nearly 1 trillion VND (39.13 million USD) in three major upgrade projects at Vinh International Airport in the central province of Nghe An, aiming for completion by the end of 2025, ACV Chairman Vu The Phiet said at a recent meeting with the Provincial People’s Committee.
The investment will fund the expansion and renovation of the airport apron, allowing it to accommodate nine Code C aircraft. Construction is set to begin before April 30 and be completed by December, with a total budget of 236.63 billion VND.
Additionally, ACV has approved a 68.36 billion VND project to upgrade the passenger terminal T1, increasing its capacity to 3-3.5 million passengers annually by 2030. This renovation is also scheduled to start before the end of April and finish by December.
