An abandoned airport has moved a step closer to reopening as its supporters aim to have aircraft departing from 2028. RiverOak Strategic Partners Ltd. (RSP) unveiled its latest consultation on reviving Manston Airport earlier this month. The revival has been estimated to cost between £500million and £750million.
Proposals to restore the former aviation hub near Ramsgate, Kent, have been underway since 2019, with residents encouraged to provide feedback on suggested flight paths and airport operations until June 22. RSP's director, Tony Freudman, described the company's goal to revive the airport as a "once in a generation" prospect that would reshape the regional economic picture...
