Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray, a senior member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee, applauded the U.S. Department of Transportation's announcement that ten airports across Washington state will receive over $13 million in federal grants.
The grants will make critical improvements to the airports in order to handle increased air traffic, assess short- and long-term needs, and promote economic growth in both urban and rural areas.
