Wayfinding consultants MSD were commissioned in April 2014 by Moscow Domodedovo Airport to carry out an audit and analysis of end-to-end passenger journeys to review the current signage and technologies used for passenger information and navigation.
According to ACI Europe classification, Domodedovo is one of the largest airports in Europe and is the largest airport in Russia and Eastern Europe in terms of passenger traffic. 30 Million passengers passed through the airport last year.
MSD's studies included evaluation of the current signage graphics, products and hardware, website, information and enquiry services, acoustics and advice on improvements and future technology.
