Palma de Mallorca Airport is approaching the final stage of a €560 million terminal modernisation programme, while another €621.6 million has been earmarked for infrastructure investment between 2027 and 2031.
Together, the two programmes represent approximately €1.18 billion in investment in one of Spain’s busiest airports and a key gateway to the Balearic Islands.
The current redevelopment, which began in October 2022, is scheduled for full completion in February 2027.
Planned works include runway maintenance and resurfacing, additional apron capacity and the gradual replacement of passenger boarding bridges.
Security screening and baggage inspection equipment will also be upgraded with newer-generation systems...
