SOF starts solar plant build

Operator SOF Connect has begun construction of a 5MW photovoltaic power plant at Bulgaria’s Vasil Levski Sofia Airport.

The plant – being built on airport-owned land to generate electricity for on-site consumption – will involve 8,300 solar modules installed on an approximately 50,000m2 site and will feature an intelligent real-time monitoring and management system.
