Construction to Begin on New Chicago O’Hare Concourse E

The City of Chicago plans to begin construction of the first phase of a new Concourse E at O’Hare International Airport later this year, adding 14 gates and supporting the delivery of the airport’s planned Global Terminal.

The project forms part of the 8.8 billion USD ORDNext modernisation programme. The first 14 gates are scheduled to open in 2030, while construction of the O’Hare Global Terminal is planned to begin in a coordinated phase in 2029 and be completed in 2033...
