FAA earmarks $870M for airport infrastructure projects

The FAA will distribute 339 grants in 44 states and two territories through its Airport Infrastructure Grants program, which falls under the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Some notable projects included in this latest round of investments include $289.35 million to Los Angeles International Airport for a new terminal access road and $50 million to Miami International Airport for the reconstruction of the terminal roof. Other awards include $69.11 million to Denver International Airport and $47.89 million to Chicago O’Hare International Airport to reconstruct taxiways, according to the project award list.
