Airport Regions Council (ARC)

Circular Construction at Airports is a practical framework published in May 2026 under the TULIPS Horizon 2020 programme, officially launched at Schiphol in the presence of partners and contributors.

Drawing on more than 350 sources and validated by industry practitioners, it translates circular construction principles into actionable guidance tailored to airport environments — where operational continuity, safety, and regulation are non-negotiable.

Royal Schiphol Group, as the TULIPS lighthouse airport and lead sponsor, contributed practical experience throughout the framework's development alongside Oslo Airport (Avinor) and leading construction partners.

*This publication is produced under the TULIPS Horizon 2020 project (grant agreement No. 101036996), funded by the European Union.
