In the turbulent world that is a major expansion project for an airport, things like this happen.
Last week Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) announced the permanent closure of two of its food and beverage and retail options − a Dunkin' and Beaches Travelmart. Both were located near the entrance to Concourse B.
The last week is just another example of ushering out the "old" and bringing in the new, which from the start has been the plan with this historic transformation of RSW. It it includes a complete makeover for the terminal and the construction of a new concourse − Concourse E. The project is expected to be completely finished in early 2029...
