As per a report by the New York Post, a sinkhole was discovered near a main runway, which led to hundreds of flights being delayed and cancelled. According to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the crew members identified the sinkhole roughly at 11:00 am Wednesday during a routine morning examination of the airfield.
