The Romanian capital's airports registered a record number of passengers last year - more than 17.7 million - an increase by 10.26% against 2024, the Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB) informs on Tuesday.
'In 2025, the capital's two airports - the Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport and the Bucharest Baneasa-Aurel Vlaicu International Airport - saw a record number of 17,700,242 passengers, by 10.26% more than in 2024,' a press sent to AGERPRES shows.
The increase in passenger traffic was also reflected in a rise in aircraft movements, with Bucharest airports recording 142,728 landings and takeoffs last year - 5.96% more than in the previous year...
