Two days of meetings were held in Warsaw between the management board of the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny company and a Portuguese delegation led by Portugal’s Secretary of State for Infrastructure. Both countries are developing new airports that will be located further from their capitals than the existing facilities, while enabling a significant expansion of capacity and reducing noise pollution. The aim of the workshops is to exchange experience and expertise related to the delivery of greenfield investment projects.

On 5 May, representatives met at the headquarters of the company implementing the Port Polska investment programme, including Dr. Filip Czernicki, CEO of Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, and Hugo Espírito Santo, Portugal’s Secretary of State for Infrastructure. The Portuguese government delegation also included representatives of the Airport Projects Management and Monitoring Task Force (EGAPA), which is directly responsible for the new Lisbon airport project, Aeroporto Luís de Camões, intended to replace Lisbon’s current Humberto Delgado Airport...
