Matarat Holding, in partnership with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), has shortlisted five bidders for the US$800 million Taif International Airport project in Saudi Arabia. The five qualified consortia include GMR Airports, Bengaluru International Airport Ltd., with Tamasuk, Turkey's TAV Airports, with Mada International Holding, an Ireland-based DAA International-led group, and the Kalyon Insaat consortium.

The project scope encompasses a commercial passenger terminal specifically designed to match projected capacity requirements and anticipated passenger demand patterns. Key infrastructure components include:

  • Commercial passenger terminal with capacity-matched design
  • Support buildings for operational requirements
  • Comprehensive utility networks
  • Car parking facilities
  • Access roads and transportation infrastructure
