King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, recorded 53.4 million passengers in 2025, the highest annual passenger throughput ever, underlining its burgeoning position as one of the world’s key aviation nodes and its solid position among the megairports of the world. The airport’s performance puts into light the rate of aviation growth underway at the Jeddah gateway, where Saudi Arabia is pressing ahead with its wider ambitions to grow the aviation sector under the country’s Vision 2030 development strategy.

The airport also handled 310,000 flights and processed 60.4 million pieces of baggage-a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.
