Long Thanh International Airport, Vietnam's largest-ever aviation project, is short of nearly 6,000 workers to finish on time, raising the prospect that it will miss its opening deadline this year, its state investor has warned.
The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) said in a report this week it is struggling to mobilize enough personnel to the sprawling construction site in Dong Nai Province, roughly 40 km east of Ho Chi Minh City.
