Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) welcomes the Financial Secretary’s statement while delivering the Budget that the Government will continue to strive to enter into new air services agreements and expand traffic rights. AAHK is working closely with the Government, proactively expanding its aviation network, so as to consolidate Hong Kong’s position as an international aviation hub.
The Budget also mentions that the departure facilities of Terminal 2 will be operational in May, substantially boosting the airport’s overall capacity. Meanwhile, AAHK is committed to providing seamless passenger connections between Hong Kong and other Greater Bay Area (GBA) cities through projects such as “Fly-Via-Zhuhai-HK”, aiming to attract more passengers from the Chinese Mainland to travel to destinations worldwide via Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)...
