Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad concluded the year 2025 with a significant milestone, handling 31 million passengers and registering double-digit growth. As part of its ambitious transit hub strategy, airport authorities have announced plans for a new terminal to accommodate the increasing passenger volumes. The expansion project aims to enhance the airport’s capacity and improve connectivity for travelers using Hyderabad as a transit point. According to the planned timeline, the master plan for the new terminal is scheduled to be completed during 2025.
