On the 27 March, we hosted our first BAG Board Meeting of the year followed by the BAG Regional Reception in Belfast at the Titanic Hotel. It was a fantastic day overall with a great attendance from the BAG board with engaging discussions on how we move BAG forward followed by a truly superb networking reception from the Northern Ireland Region. We welcomed 50 members and colleagues including our guests The Rt Hon Gavin Robinson MP for Belfast East, Daniel Owens, CEO, Belfast International Airport, Chris Horner, Director of Projects & Engineering, Belfast International and Tim Halley, Chief Development Officer, Belfast City Airport.
BAG facilitates three BAG Regions (one of which being Northern Ireland) which allow BAG members to have a voice and forum in the locality. Their aim is to provide a focus for members to help improve their penetration of UK, the local airport market and global aviation markets using the region as a focus for sharing information, collaboration and networking. BAG Regions are open to all BAG members, but it is hoped that they will enable greater participation in BAG by the regional offices of BAG member companies and attract new members for whom a London based offer has been too difficult to access.
