We're releasing this special edition Elevation on the day of the launch of Destination Zero: our technology strategy for UK aerospace. Destination Zero focuses on UK aerospace achieving its Net Zero 2050 target and maintaining its global competitiveness. This can only be achieved by collaborating across the aviation ecosystem and through cross-sector partnerships.

The strategy provides guidance on the ATI Programme investment priorities and provides technology roadmaps across three areas of focus:

  • Zero-carbon emission aircraft technologies
  • Ultra-efficient aircraft technologies
  • Cross-cutting enabling technologies
