Travellers from “red-list” countries face being segregated on planes to prevent them from mixing with other passengers en route to the UK.

Airlines could be required to reserve part of the cabin for passengers travelling from high-risk countries as part of new measures designed to limit the spread of mutant strains of coronavirus.
