The new-look Teesside International Airport has been unveiled following completion of a multimillion-pound terminal redevelopment. Among the first passengers to use the new facilities were those on Ryanair’s inaugural service to Palma, Majorca, on 1 June 2021. The new route kicks off Teesside’s summer schedule for the airline, which also includes Alicante, Corfu and Faro.
The upgraded terminal features new check-in desks, and a reconfigured security area with state-of-the-art body and baggage scanners.
