Aviation services company Swissport is expanding its presence in Japan with the launch of its new air cargo centre at Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) next month.

Located on the north side of International Cargo Warehouse 1 at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), the new facility will open on 1 November 2022.

It is said to facilitate the development of air transport and logistic services in Japan’s Tokai region.

The new facility will be the third domestic base of Swissport on Japanese soil. The firm’s other two bases are at N.R.T. International (NRT) and Kansai International (KIX) airports.
