AIRPORT bosses say they are “exploring options” to move staff to new roles following the news Amazon will stop night flights from Southend.

Both Southend Airport and Esken have sought to reassure workers after concerns were raised by Southend West MP, Anna Firth, about potential jobs losses.

An Esken spokesman said: “Southend Airport employs 12 people within the cargo operations and Star Handling, formerly Stobart Aviation Services, employs 60 people in service of the global logistics partner contract.
