Contractors will have plenty of work to bid for on High Speed 2 (HS2) in the coming years, with 32 contracts worth around £4.8bn included within the government's National Infrastructure and Construction Pipeline, published yesterday.
The pipeline also includes a £250M contract for phase 2b route-wide ground investigations for post-Bill deposit, and a £272M contract for the design and construction of an automated people mover to carry passengers from Birmingham Interchange Station to Birmingham International Airport.
