The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has undertaken the construction of the new Pune airport terminal building at the cost of Rs 475 crore. The construction of the new terminal building is expected to be completed by August 2023.
Pune airport is set to get a new integrated terminal building with enhanced capacity and world-class facilities at a cost of Rs 475 crore, the government of India said. The construction work has been undertaken by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the new terminal will reduce congestion during peak hours at the airport.
The government said that more than 55 per cent of the work has been completed and construction of the new building is likely to be completed by August 2023.
