Pascall+Watson have collaborated with Glasgow Airport to prepare their forward-looking Development Strategy; an exercise to inform the airport’s investment plans for the next twenty years. The strategy will facilitate growth to enable a capacity of around 17 million passengers a year by 2040.

The proposal sets out a detailed terminal and landside development programme, to deliver the airport’s long term vision. Pascall+Watson provided airport planning, passenger simulation modelling and architectural design services.

Glasgow Airport is Scotland’s principal long-haul gateway, currently serving almost 10 million passengers per year to over 120 destinations.

Ross Nimmo, Head of Planning and Development at Glasgow Airport, commented:

“Preparing this development strategy has come at a pivotal time for Glasgow, with record breaking passenger growth and significant development of the wider airport area. The Pascall+Watson team brought creativity, flair and valuable insight, helping us to create a vision which is deliverable and will provide a great airport experience”
