The U.S. Senate cleared its FY 2024 Transportation-Housing and Urban Development bill on an 82-15 vote last week.
The bill provides $3.35 billion in Airport Improvement Projects (AIP), with an additional $300 million in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) discretionary grants and $200.7 million in congressional project earmarks.
In the House, leaders pulled its FY 2024 spending bill in the last minute after it became clear they may not have votes to pass the measure, primarily over proposed cuts to Amtrak.
