Innovations
Our award-winning research and development team at Nationwide Platforms believes in driving change in the industry though innovations and bespoke solutions to improve safety and tackle key causes of harm or fatality. Using data from the IPAF Global Safety Report, our exclusive safety innovations are centred around preventing accidents and increasing efficiency.
In 2023 we launched our latest award-winning device, Harness ON to the industry, an intelligent anchor point which is permanently shackled to the MEWPs anchor point and wired into the function controls. Driving compliance, the machine will only operate when the carabiner clip from the operator’s lanyard is clipped into Harness ON. Harness ON is now available on all our boom lifts, setting industry standards.

We invest heavily in hybrid and electric equipment, with over 50% of fleet being classed as ‘green’ over the next 3 years. Our transition towards a greener, more environmentally friendly fleet supports the Jet Zero strategy objective towards a more sustainable future.
24 Hours/ 365 breakdown assistance:
Our technical centre is operated with front-line support of qualified engineers. This support ensures the quickest and best possible opportunity for an immediate resolution should problems occur and with readily available technical expertise, downtime is significantly reduced at any time and any day of the year.
Bespoke aviation package:
We understand the importance of responsiveness and availability at short notice within the supply chain. At Nationwide Platforms, we are the only company with the means to meet these needs, and with our own fleet. We provide a local support service key to successfully delivery.

Working at height & Safety Training:
Our success in delivering training is based on our strong internal training network. We deliver in person specialist training sessions either on site at a customer worksite, or at any of our own 29 dedicated and accredited IPAF Training Centres across the UK. As Europe’s largest safety & working at height training specialists serving the industry, and in 2023 we trained more than 23,000 delegates.
