“Interactive 3D/ VR tour creators Ocean 3D Ltd were recently engaged by BAG members Robson Handling Technology Ltd, following their successful award of a major contract by Stansted Airport to expand and upgrade an existing and crucial component of the Airports operation; their check-in and baggage handling system.” Said Chris Wood, Director of Ocean 3D.

“Robsons’ initial requirement for the virtual tour was to enable them to showcase the installation and technology in a portable, interactive, engaging, low-cost and easy to access solution for their sales and marketing teams for the many global conferences, diverse industry client portfolios and trade shows they attend.”

Ocean 3D worked closely with Julian Martin, Airport Sales & Marketing Manager and Robsons Stansted maintenance and support team and, indirectly, Stansted Airport security and management, to create a series of tours that fulfilled these requirements, including two public and two non-public facing copies to protect Robson trade secrets and available for direct discussions / presentations only. In the process, Ocean 3D also developed new ways of interacting with the tours including Live broadcast streaming and, the inclusion of CGI 3D models within the tours themselves.

“ROBSON ARE ALSO NOW SEEING MEASURABLE AND QUANTIFIABLE RESULTS FROM THEIR TOURS WITH DATA SUPPLIED BY A UNIQUE EMBED CODE CREATED BY OCEAN 3D LTD TO PROVIDE IN-DEPTH TRACKING INFORMATION VIA GOOGLE ANALYTICS.”

Ocean 3D were awarded the New Civil Engineers 'Future of Airports' competition in 2019 run in conjunction with The British Aviation Group and have since gone on to create interactive VR tours (no headset required) for two NHS trusts, a number of colleges and the new £29 Million Police Headquarters at Middlemoor for the Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioners office."https://www.ocean3d.co.uk/Gallery/Show/?tourId=125
