French consultant engineer and project manager Egis has won a contract to design a terminal expansion for an international airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. It will also carry out a concept design for another terminal, to be built in the next 10 years, that will accommodate 2 million passengers a year.

The Paris-based company has previously worked on Riyadh and Amaala airports in Saudi Arabia.
