"Yes" to green energy and reducing CO2 emissions

The CPK company has obtained another EU funding. CPK became part of a European consortium that received a total of EUR 12 million to develop green, environmentally friendly and intelligent airport design solutions.

In addition to CPK, 15 institutions have become participants of the Smart Airports project, including: the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Copenhagen Airport, Danish Technological Institute (DTI), Rome-Fiumicino Airport, Lithuanian Airports (airport manager, among others

in Vilnius and Kaunas), the University of Parma, the Technical University of Hamburg and the carrier Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).

The president of the CPK, Mikołaj Wild, emphasized that the environmental goal for the CPK is zero-emission infrastructure. - When planning and designing the Port of Solidarity, we plan to use green solutions on a large scale, e.g. in the field of intelligent energy and electromobility - he said.

The cooperation within Smart Airports will last four years.
