August was busy at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), with more than 2.3 million passengers passing through the facilities at Denmark’s capital city gateway.
The monthly total means that around seven million passengers used Copenhagen in between June 1 and August 31 this year, with Spain being the most popular outbound destination.
According to the airport, it is primarily European routes that have benefited from the summer upturn in traffic, and therefore are closest to achieving pre-pandemic traffic levels.
