Serbia's Aerodromi Srbije has selected Bosnia's civil engineering institute IG to prepare the documentation for the new airport which will be built in Trebinje with financial support from the Serbian government, the government of Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Thursday.
The value of the contract, which has a term of 180 days, is 68.08 million dinars ($703,000/578,000 euro), the government of Bosnia's Serb Republic said in a press release.
Chinese AVIC-Intl Airport Construction was the only other bidder in the tender launched by Aerodromi Srbije in April. It submitted an offer of 69.8 million dinars.
The construction of the airport in Trebinje is planned to start in 2022,
