Rome's Fiumicino International Airport recovered 93% of its flights in 2023, with a 76% increase in European flights and a 30% increase in intercontinental flights.

Cargo handling at Leonardo da Vinci Airport grew by 37% in 2023, while Ciampino Airport welcomed 3.9 million passengers.

Rome's airports saw an expansion of routes and new flight connections, with up to 34 flights per day to and from North America, and plans to expand to other destinations in 2024.
