Turner Construction delivered the new Terminal 1 baggage handling system at San Diego International Airport.
The final baggage handling contract was approximately $95 million.
Early procurement and contractor involvement reduced the package by about $45 million from an initial market projection.
The system was activated without affecting the Sept. 23, 2025, Terminal 1 opening.
