According to the latest data from OAG for July 2025, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) holds onto its long-standing position as the busiest airport in the United States, with approximately 5.7 million scheduled seats, marking a modest but steady 1% year-over-year increase.
Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) comes in second on the national list (and third globally!) with a significant 11% surge in scheduled seat capacity, reaching approximately 4.76 million seats in July 2025.
Denver International Airport (DEN) continues its climb, reporting 4.65 million seats, a 3% increase year-over-year.
Meanwhile, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) comes in just ahead with 4.72 million seats, though this represents a 2% decline from 2024...
