Night work will not inconvenience travelers

Routine annual maintenance and repair work on Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport’s north runway will take place at night, Taoyuan International Airport Corporation said Tuesday.

The inspections and repair work will take place between 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., the company said in a statement. As the timing coincides with normal closing hours and the south runway will function as usual, airlines and travelers should experience no inconvenience...
