Systems Interface, based in the UK, has won the contract to supply, install and commission a complete Aerodrome Flight Information Service system (AFIS) at Andorra-La Seu Airport, Spain for Servicos Aeronáuticos Control Y Navegación SL (SAERCO).
Systems Interface will supply a suite of Frequentis products including:
- iSecComm VCS, a single coherent IP network, allowing voice communication and data, in addition to information services to be shared on the same network.
- DIVOS recording system that offers recording of all relevant information such as, voice, screen, radar and all other data of interest.
- TAPtools to include, smartNAV, smartMET and smartLICOS.
The contract also includes the supply and installation of Transceiver Radios and Master Clock.
Installation will commence by the end of 2014.
Andorra-La Seu Airport reopened in June 2010. Conveniently located in the middle of the Pyrenees near Andorra and close to skiing areas and parks, it will become a public and commercial airport later this year.
