At the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s transition is a massive 9.2 billion peso investment in the international airport, overseen by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP). Construction has advanced to fifty-four percent completion, with phased operations beginning in 2026 and full capacity expected by 2027.
