Nice Côte d’Azur Airport recorded a new passenger record in 2025, handling 15.23 million travellers, up 3.2% on the previous year, while sharply reducing its carbon footprint.
Despite the rise in passenger numbers, aircraft movements increased by just 1.9%, reflecting the use of larger, more efficient planes.
Growth was driven mainly by international traffic, up 4.7%, with new long-haul routes including Washington and Dakar.
The airport also completed a major phase of its Terminal 2 expansion, adding new lounges, retail spaces and upgraded border controls, with further facilities due to open before the 2026 summer season.
Environmentally, Nice Airport achieved a milestone by becoming the first French airport in its category to reach Level 5 Airport Carbon Accreditation, the highest global standard.
