Double-digit passenger traffic growth in 2018 saw some 14.9 million passengers at Budapest Airport, making it the fastest-growing airport in the Central Eastern European region. Solid growth is the basis of the airport’s long-term development plans, which envisage investment of EUR 700 million in infrastructure in coming years, including a new terminal building.
