New baggage handling system planned for Denver airport

Gilmore Construction, Daifuku and Industrial Constructors/Managers Inc. (ICM) have been awarded a contract to install a new baggage handling system in Concourse A at Denver International Airport.

Gilmore will serve as the general contractor. Daifuku will provide and integrate the baggage handling system and ICM will serve as the lead mechanical subcontractor.

ICM will install thousands of feet of conveyor systems and eight baggage makeup units as part of the project. The system will move bags from the concourse center core to module 10 west and is part of the Concourse A expansion. The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
