Two Kent MPs have met a government minister to discuss Manston Airport's future ahead of a decision over a compulsory purchase plan for the site.
The East Kent airport was closed in May and sold to regeneration specialists four months later.
Thanet District Council is considering a report later which recommends no further action be taken on the site.
